Physical Activity for a Stronger Society
Physical activity has a positive impact on public health, the economy, and democracy, while also fostering joy and a sense of community. Research shows that equal access to sports and health strengthens societies. Working towards equal health is both economically necessary and strategically important for the future of welfare.
Many municipalities are increasing awareness of public health through movement and sports, with growing interest in how urban planning can promote daily physical activity.
Träffpunkt Idrott is the meeting place for the sports and aquatic sectors, where stakeholders come together to promote equal public health. Over three days, the exhibition floor will feature around 100 exhibiting companies and organizations, along with stage programs focused on sharing best practices and exchanging experiences.
The conference attracts around 1,000 participants from Sweden and the Nordic region, including representatives from municipalities, the sports movement, politics, academia, business, and the media. The focus is on increasing knowledge about necessary societal investments and their effects, with discussions on sustainability, digitalization, and equality.
Träffpunkt Idrott is a unique platform for networking, professional development, collaboration, and innovation – and a key driver for a stronger society through physical activity.
